MEET: MACY PRESTON
Hey Y'all!! My name is Macy Preston and I am your 2024-25 Miss Kentucky High School Rodeo! I am a junior in high school taking accelerated classes and maintaining straight A's. I compete in barrel racing, breakaway roping, goat tying and team roping. I have been rodeoing for 4 years now and I love every second of it!
2023-24 ACHIEVEMENTS:
- I finished Reserve Champion Barrel Racer and achieved the opportunity of traveling to Rock Springs, WY for a chance to compete at a national level
- I was crowned Miss Kentucky High School Rodeo Queen and competed for a chance at National High School Rodeo Queen!
2025 GOALS:
- In the upcoming year, a huge goal of mine is to make it to nationals in all of my rodeo events!!!
**After high school I plan to continue my rodeo career in college while taking pre-vet classes. I want to become an equine veterinarian specializing in the radiology part of it.
MY HORSES:
COOPER: Cooper is my exceptional barrel horse that can also do breakaway roping. I have had Cooper for almost 6 months and in just a short amount of time, he has made so many of my dreams come true!
TRIGGER: Trigger is my breakaway, goat & team roping horse. He is a 19 year old Palomino gelding but still have the ability of a 6year old. He has more heart than any horse i've ever had.
